Should You Choose a Perm for Your Straight Hair?
Filed under: Hair Styles Author: hairstyles
Perms have the ability to straighten the most straight and fine of hair into a hairstyle that has volume and curls throughout the entire style. Curls are a great way to add volume and one of the trendiest looks that have come about this season. Whether you are transforming long or short hair, curls are the way to go to make sure that you are noticed this season.
What kind of perm should you seek? There are multiple types of perms that are available to individuals seeking a hair change. Large and small curls vary and can bring about different styles in the hair.
Choosing to get a perm is more versatile than you may think, as it can be easily straightened to achieve the look that the hairstyle had before the perm was applied to the hair. Are you seeking something that offers you a variety of looks from one hairstyle? Perhaps you should get a perm to make the most of your style.
A perm can be applied to the hair in as little as an hour with a trip to the salon, or can be easily applied at home through supplies which can be purchased from the local beauty supply store. This is a great way to save money while getting the trendiest look of the season.

please dont!!!!!!
my perm was wonderful, amazing huge curls! i had it done in one of the best hair salons in london. lol! unfortunately my regrowth never came back to the same fantastic stunning condition as they were before perm. after 18 months since perm i started loosing my hair rapidly, they became thin dull and weak. now i am spending a lot of money, time and effort to bring them back to previous condition.. i blame perm only bcs nothing happen in my life, no pregnancy, no funerals no stress at all!
I am saying NO to PERM chemical hair killer!

I really desperately want curly hair thats permanent. It’s been a dream of mine for years. Many people have said that perms ruined their hair, but many have said that nothing bad happened to their hair. Idk what to do. Would the curls be worth the results?
